Arwani Motor Parts was established in Hama – Syria in 1976 as a trading company for automobile spare parts.
The company took advantage of the Japanese cars entry to the Syrian market and concentrated on selling engine and suspension parts for those vehicles.
As AMP‘s business grew, the idea of expanding to other local Syrian markets came through. One Branch was opened in Aleppo in 1984 for the purpose of serving the North sector of Syria.
Eight years later in 1992 a new branch was also established in Damascus. This branch has always been the company’s main wholesale outlet in the southern part of Syria.
Later in the following years, the market for Korean spare parts was booming which encouraged the company’s management to enter the business of KIA and Hyundai spare parts. For that purpose a new outlet was opened in 1997 in the new industrial area in Damascus (Hosh Plass).
Moving forward, again in 2010 the company expanded to the wholesale business for Korean passenger cars in Damascus with the new branch dedicated for this purpose in Hosh Plass industrial area.
2012 was the time at which AMP decided to start business overseas. A new branch was opened in Baniyas the major wholesale market for spare parts in Dubai. Dubai branch was followed with a new branch in Sharjah in 2013 specialized in Korean cars spare parts.
